TC | Group / Event Submission

The church is the PEOPLE. Whether we’re meeting in groups for discipleship, planning events to build community, or serving our neighbors, it’s all about the people. Programs simply help us organize people into places for a purpose
 
Use this form to start a new Life Group or Grow Group, to propose a new event that will build community as a faith family, propose an event that will connect new friends into our church community, or to share a community serving opportunity.

Here’s how in it works in 3 steps: 
 
1. Submit Details. Use our Group / Event Submission Form OR Email thirdcoast@fearlessfollower.org at least six weeks before your activity with the who / what / when / where / why / how much.  Shorter lead time is okay, but will limit support.
 
2. Leader Team Approval. The leader team will discuss activities weekly to make sure they are a good fit for our faith family and wider community. They will then respond within two weeks to members with any questions, concerns and all resources available. 
 
3. Activity Promotion! After approval, your member-led activity can be promoted. This is often three to four weeks after initial request request.

Life Group: Group of 5-15 people who regularly meet to encourage each other and grow as a Family of Disciples on MIssion. 
 
Grow Group: A member-led, topical group that usually lasts between 4 and 10 weeks. E.g. a Series Discussion, Bible study, book study, photography class, hiking club, etc.
 
Church Family Event: Something that builds unity and community among those who call Third Coast Church home (while always being accessible to guests)
 
Community Bridge Event: Something that invites new friends and neighbors to join our faith community for a good time, or a long time (targets 25% guests and higher).
 
Community Service: Something happening in our community that our church family can support or engage in.
